This completed ALPHA Network collaboration used harmonized health and demographic surveillance system data to describe long-run changes in adolescent and adult causes of death across six countries in eastern and southern Africa. The first- and corresponding-author study was published in The Lancet Global Health.
The project also produced a curated and anonymized verbal-autopsy data resource from the AHRI/uMkhanyakude site in South Africa. I am one of four named primary investigators in the catalogue record.
